Mother's Day is a very special day for all of us, as we would not be in this world without someone who chose to give birth to us. It is a day to be thankful. A day to show our gratitude. It is also a day to remember the mothers who are no longer with us. We should not take these women for granted because they are always doing something for us.
A mother's love is unconditional and she would do anything to make her children happy. Yet, so many days go by without our mother's knowing just how much they mean to us.
This Mother's Day, be sure to let your mom know just how special she is and how much you appreciate all the things she has done for you over the years.
And it's not just our biological mothers who deserve praise and appreciation today. There are so many people who play the role of mother in our lives that also deserve thanks. I know that I personally have several women who helped to shape me into the man I am today by demonstrating love, compassion, care, and devotion on a regular basis.
So really, I write all of this to say "Thank You!" Thank you to my wife, my aunts, my cousins, my friends' moms, my teachers, and every other woman in my life who has helped to make me the best person I can possibly be. I can't imagine where I would be without ALL of you. And I hope you know just how much you are loved and appreciated, not only today, but every single day.
